Case Study-Stella Artois and Water.org

The above case study was designed on a social advocacy marketing campaign. I selected the campaign and then set about creating a graphic report to highlight key elements of the campaign and the campaign’s success.
Infographic for Crisis Communications Best Practices

I created this infographic as a piece of my Crisis Communications’ project for my capstone course in Strategic Communication. The goal was to create an info graphic that highlighted best practices for crisis communication scenarios. This infographic was specifically designed with Boeing and the 737 Max crisis in mind, but it is applicable across the board to crisis communication scenarios.
Facebook Advocacy Page

I created the above advocacy page for a grad school course on persuasion. I crafted multiple messages, including blog posts that advocated for the eradication of the death penalty. I have actually been able to maintain the page and it continues growing to this day. It was also where I learned first hand about reach and the power of paid Facebook advertisements.
LOGO Design

I designed the above LOGO for a fictional museum that was part of a course. The idea was to capture the definitions of justice. Some philosopher’s describe justice as a square and some as a circle. I wanted to capture both of those attributes while also designing the center to reflect an eye, to give a nod toward the idea that beauty is in the eye of the beholder. The center also emulates a sun and part of the project was a push for this museum to be adopted under The Smithsonian Institute, who’s logo is a sun.

I designed the above logo for an organization I started that highlighted hospitality outdoors in San Diego. The idea of the circle was to emulate gathering/togetherness. I then used the cityscape of San Diego, which is fairly iconic, to highlight the location. It was designed in Adobe Photoshop and placed on a photo I took and edited outside.
Informational Campaign: National Institute for Mental Health

I designed the above as part of a fictional campaign for the National Institute for Mental Health. The idea was to educate the public on non-prescription alternatives to combat depression. I came up with the slogan “Reconnection, the best Rx.” to encourage the public to first seek alternatives to standard prescription drugs. The campaign was based on Johann Hari’s book Lost Connections, which highlights 9 major areas of disconnection that depressed people can suffer from.
Poster Design with Adobe Photoshop

This was my very first project in the Strategic Communication program. I wasn’t entirely sure what I was doing and struggled to come up with a solid idea. I was very new to the idea of blogging and found it challenging to make up something from scratch. I came up with the idea to create an organization called “Collect”. This tied my interest in the outdoors, creativity, and hospitality up into a neat little bow.
The original goal was to create a poster advertising the blog and potentially a specific event. I created a WordPress site, podcast, and video for one of our events in order to create the page. For this specific project I used Photoshop for the initial design and Canva for later edits.
